About Brett Blatchford
Brett Blatchford, a native of Temperance, Michigan, currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for TPH Academy. Before his executive career, he spent three seasons in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the Texas Tornado, where he earned three consecutive National Championships. He also served as the team captain for two of those seasons and was named the 2006 NAHL Academic Player of the Year.
Collegiately, Blatchford played four seasons for the University of Notre Dame from 2006 to 2010. During this time, he helped the program reach its first National Championship appearance in school history and secured two CCHA championship titles. Following his graduation, he continued his hockey journey by playing professionally across the CHL, ECHL, and the American Hockey League (AHL).
Today, Brett brings fourteen years of diverse coaching experience from organizations like the University of Denver, Colorado Thunderbirds, and Phoenix Jr. Coyotes. Consequently, he utilizes this extensive background to oversee operational success and high-performance standards across all TPH Academy locations. He currently resides in North Phoenix with his wife, Kaci, and his two daughters, Stevie and June.
