OUR ACADEMICS ARE

Customized

Working with our trusted education partners, we offer a completely customized platform where individuals study online with certified instructors. The TPH Academy Blended Learning Environment is deliberately designed for student-athletes. It combines in-person learning guidance with the latest educational technology and virtual academic resources. Course progress is actively supervised and optimized in real-time by our academic leaders. Student-athletes are prepared to become independent, self-starting college freshmen through our mastery-based learning approach.

What Our Academy Families Are Saying

"We truly cannot say enough good things about our experience at TPH Academy. From an academic standpoint, the teaching staff is exceptional. They are organized, proactive, and consistently stay on top of each student’s coursework, ensuring assignments are completed and deadlines are met. At the same time, they create an environment that feels supportive rather than overwhelming. The flexibility the academy offers has been a tremendous blessing for our family. Because all coursework is completed online, Easton is able to stay current even if he is sick, traveling, or has an appointment—without stress or penalties. That balance of accountability and flexibility is rare. TPH also makes learning engaging by offering clubs, activities, and volunteer opportunities that encourage leadership, teamwork, and personal growth. In a traditional school setting, I often felt like Easton was getting lost in the shuffle and falling through the cracks. At TPH, the teachers are hands-on, attentive, and truly invested in each student’s success. It’s clear they care deeply about helping every child reach their academic goals while building confidence and independence along the way."

"We came to CoE unexpectedly because of the pandemic, needing a smaller environment and more resources to serve our boys during quarantines. We underestimated the value of starting the day with training and the flexibility/rigor of CoE’s curriculum. What we anticipated being a one year solution got us enrolled for next fall, we couldn’t be happier!"

"The major contributor for our decision to send him away at an early age was Pat O’Neill. He has been a pleasure to deal with since our very first connection. Pat is great on the phone and even better in person. He is clear with his presentation, makes sure you understand what he is laying out and undeniably the best with his follow up. I am so happy that Pat played a significant part in Casey’s Academics. You are very lucky to have a quality partner in your organization. We could only wish that Casey meets and surrounds himself with more people like Pat, not only in his hockey career, but in his journey in life."

Gregory Sturm

TPH Academy Nashville | Parent of Casey

"I have two children attending CoE for their second year in a row. Though extra ice time and improving in hockey is important, we really needed an academic environment that would fit both our boys’ very different learning styles and unique academic needs. Our boys love school, are exceeding our academic expectations, and, with the support of their teachers and coaches, continue to develop their leadership characteristics. We cannot wait until our youngest is old enough to attend CoE!"

Dr. Amy Semel, PhD

"After only a few months at TPH Academy, my 16-year-old son has grown more in his hockey development than we ever thought possible. The on-ice staff and his wonderful strength trainer Staci pour their hearts into these kids every single day, developing not only elite hockey skills but the character and mindset needed to succeed in life. My son constantly says he wishes he had started years ago. The investment and commitment these coaches make into every player goes far beyond hockey — they build discipline, confidence, accountability, and a true love for the game. As a parent who wants the best for his kid this means the world to me and I will truly cherish each and every one of these coaches."

Micah Otano

TPH Academy Nashville | Parent

"Once in COE, he found he really liked the independence in academics, being able to control his progress... He applied those principles to his lifestyle year round and became a solid overall athlete. Last year Luke also began to play Field Hockey. His athleticism and work ethic allowed him to earn a position on the US Men's Team. He applied all the experience he learned from COE to Field Hockey and set his sights on international play and as a future Olympian."

"Maggie was very proud of her grades and determined to keep them up. The flexibility has been wonderful for our family"

Tama Blackstone

TPH Academy Nashville | Parent of Maggie (Figure Skater)

"On the hockey side, the development we’ve seen has been just as impressive. The structure and intensity of the practice drills are outstanding, and we have seen tremendous growth in Easton’s overall game—his skill level, hockey IQ, confidence, and work ethic have all elevated. The coaches are demanding in the best way possible. They expect 100% effort every single day and hold the players to a high standard, which prepares them not just for the next game, but for the next level. What stands out most is that they don’t just run drills and move on; they take the time to work with players individually until concepts click. They push the kids, encourage them, and consistently build their confidence. It’s evident that they genuinely care about each athlete’s growth and long-term development, both on and off the ice. TPH Academy has provided the perfect balance of strong academics and elite hockey training, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of a program that challenges, supports, and believes in our son."
