About Taso Sofikitis

Taso Sofikitis is an Investing Partner at TPH Academy and serves as the CEO and President of Maynards Group of Companies. In addition to his leadership at TPH, he oversees global industrial auctions, liquidations, and asset appraisals for Maynards. Under his guidance, the firm has maintained its status as a premier global leader in the industrial sector.

Taso is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, and later attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH). Consequently, his professional discipline stems from his time as an elite defenseman for the UAH Chargers hockey team. He played a vital role in the program’s 1996 NCAA Division II National Championship victory.

During that undefeated season, Taso recorded an impressive 41 points across only 29 games. He served as a dominant force on the blue line, contributing 11 goals and 30 assists. Today, Taso brings that same competitive drive and strategic mindset to his high-level leadership roles at TPH and Maynards.
