About Vinny Bohn

TPH Academy Nashville is pleased to announce Vinny Bohn as Player Development Coach & Mentor and Head Coach of the 18U AAA team for the 2025-26 season. Vinny joins the organization with an extensive background in junior and collegiate hockey coaching and a proven track record of elite player advancement. Previously, he served as the Assistant Coach and Assistant General Manager for the New Mexico Ice Wolves in the NAHL. Furthermore, his professional experience spans the NA3HL, NAHL, USHL, and NCAA Division-III levels, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the modern hockey landscape.

Throughout his coaching career, Vinny has played a pivotal role in transitioning over 100 players to the NCAA Division-I hockey ranks. Because he has managed both the bench and the front office, he possesses a unique ability to guide student-athletes through the complexities of the recruiting process. He is widely recognized for his commitment to individual skill development and his capacity to build cohesive, high-performing team cultures. Consequently, his leadership ensures that every player in the 18U AAA program receives the professional mentorship necessary to reach their highest potential.
