About Amanda Lupo
Originally from Utica, New York, Amanda Lupo brings a diverse and impressive background in both athletics and academic mentorship to the TPH Academy team. She was a standout three-sport athlete at Utica University where she competed as a high-level goaltender while earning her Master’s degree in Physical Education and Health Education. Over the past two seasons, Amanda has served as an Assistant Coach for the Utica University Women’s Hockey program to further develop her coaching expertise. Additionally, she served as the Goalie Coach for the Hamilton College Women’s Hockey team during the 2023-2024 season.
Beyond her time at the rink, Amanda works professionally as a Mental Health Counselor and College Advisor specifically for young athletes. Because she understands the psychological demands of competitive sports, she is uniquely equipped to guide student-athletes through the pressures of the modern game. Furthermore, she currently serves as the NJP Girls Director and works closely alongside the Nashville Predators to grow the game for female athletes. This leadership role allows her to impact the next generation of players by creating inclusive and high-performance environments.
Ultimately, Amanda’s combination of tactical hockey knowledge and professional counseling expertise ensures that her players develop both physically and mentally. Her commitment to holistic growth makes her a vital asset to the Nashville hockey community and the TPH Academy family. Consequently, she remains dedicated to helping female athletes reach their full potential on and off the ice through structured and supportive mentorship.
