About Valerie Hofmann
Originally from the Chicago area, Valerie Hofmann has spent the last several decades building a diverse professional and community-focused career in Memphis. Specifically, she attended Christian Brothers University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a strategic emphasis on Marketing. Following her graduation, she began her professional journey as an academic advisor at the university level to support student success. Furthermore, Valerie possesses an extensive background in retail management and dedicated thirteen years of her career to early childhood education.
Most recently, Valerie and her husband successfully opened a private medical practice and sleep clinic, where she currently serves as the practice administrator. In addition to her professional roles, she co-chaired the annual auction at Lausanne Collegiate School for three years and raised over $150,000. Notably, she has also held various leadership positions within sport and band booster clubs and multiple parent committees at her children’s schools. Because she is the parent of a world championship dancer and a distinguished student musician, she deeply understands the demands of elite performance.
Moreover, Valerie is the mother of a TPH Academy student who is currently entering his fifth year of competitive travel hockey. Consequently, she is eager to leverage these personal experiences to help guide TPH student-athletes as they navigate their own unique academic journeys. Ultimately, her blend of administrative expertise and firsthand knowledge of the student-athlete lifestyle makes her an invaluable resource for the entire TPH Academy.
