About Stephen Bopp
Stephen Bopp serves as a Player Development Coach and Mentor for the TPH Academy in St. Louis. Regarding his local roots, he grew up playing for several prominent organizations, including the Kirkwood Stars and the St. Louis AAA Blues. He later played junior hockey for the St. Louis Bandits before joining the Lindenwood University program as a student-athlete.
During his time at Lindenwood, Stephen earned a degree in Exercise Science and won a National Championship in 2016. Furthermore, he gained elite professional experience by interning with the St. Louis Blues Strength and Conditioning Department during their 2016 playoff run. He also owns Bodies By Bopp LLC, where he focuses on improving the strength and sports performance of athletes at all levels.
Today, Stephen applies his knowledge of nutrition and exercise science to help TPH student-athletes reach their physical and athletic goals. Specifically, he utilizes his coaching background with Carshield AAA and the St. Louis Rockets to provide comprehensive mentorship on and off the ice. He remains dedicated to coaching the individual athlete by finding unique ways to connect with every student in the program.
