About Ashley Bengtson
Ashley Bengtson maintains deep professional and academic ties to the St. Louis community, having earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Fontbonne College and her Master’s Degree from Lindenwood University. She joins the TPH Academy team following a distinguished career teaching within the Francis Howell School District. Notably, Ashley brings over 30 years of classroom experience and holds specialized certifications in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Because of her extensive background, she is uniquely prepared to support student-athletes across a wide range of developmental stages and academic levels.
Throughout her career, Ashley has remained dedicated to the belief that education and athletics can work hand-in-hand to build strong character. Currently, she is thrilled to combine her two greatest passions—teaching and hockey—to help TPH students become the best individuals they can be. Furthermore, she is committed to fostering positive and transparent relationships between students, parents, and the Academy staff. As a result, her classroom environment emphasizes long-term growth and the creation of connections that last a lifetime.
Ultimately, Ashley’s veteran perspective ensures that every student-athlete receives the personalized academic attention required to excel. By focusing on the holistic development of the individual, she helps bridge the gap between rink-side goals and classroom success. Consequently, her presence at TPH St. Louis strengthens our mission to develop well-rounded leaders both on and off the ice.
