About Levi Smith
As a recent graduate of Maryville University of Saint Louis, Levi Smith brings a high level of collegiate athletic experience to the TPH Academy team. During his undergraduate tenure, he competed as an NCAA Division-II lacrosse player while earning his degree in Exercise Science. Currently, he is pursuing advanced studies at Missouri Baptist University, where he also serves as a Graduate Assistant for MBU Athletic Performance. This dual role allows him to apply cutting-edge sports science theories directly to elite athletes within a high-performance weight room environment.
Beyond his academic pursuits, Levi possesses a wealth of practical experience from working with industry-leading organizations such as EXOS. He has also cultivated a diverse professional background through his work with several prominent institutions, including Lindenwood University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Furthermore, his time spent in the weight room at Maryville University provided him with a deep understanding of the physiological demands placed on student-athletes. Consequently, he is uniquely equipped to design and implement strength and conditioning programs that maximize power, agility, and injury prevention.
Ultimately, Levi’s combination of collegiate competition and specialized athletic training makes him a vital asset to the St. Louis sports community. He remains dedicated to growing the athletic standards at TPH by fostering a culture of disciplined physical preparation and long-term development. When he is not in the weight room, he enjoys an active lifestyle alongside his Goldendoodle, Finn, through hiking, camping, and rock climbing. As a result, his passion for the outdoors and elite performance ensures that every student-athlete receives the energetic and expert guidance necessary to reach their goals.
