About Amy Carroll
Amy Carroll, a Virginia native, currently serves as the Head of Academics for TPH Academy Virginia. Regarding her educational background, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Tech, a Master of Education in Reading from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration from George Washington University. She also holds teaching certifications in Administration and Supervision PreK–12, Reading Specialist K-12, and English.
Prior to joining TPH Academy Virginia, Amy served as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, and learning support specialist. With more than 23 years of experience in education, these diverse roles allowed her to develop specialized expertise in literacy instruction, executive functioning, academic intervention, and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
Today, Amy utilizes her background in literacy, educational leadership, and student support to lead the academic programming for TPH Academy Virginia. She ensures that every TPH student-athlete balances the demands of elite training with a commitment to their long-term educational goals. Her passion for mentorship helps create a supportive environment where students can thrive both in the classroom and in their sport.
