About Allison Anargyros
Allison Anargyros, a Michigan native, currently serves as the Director of Academics for the TPH Academy in Detroit. Regarding her educational background, she earned a BS in Psychology from Grand Valley State University and a Masters in Higher Education from Louisville. During her time at the University of Louisville, she worked as a Graduate Assistant and Academic Adviser for collegiate student-athletes.
Before her time in Kentucky, Allison taught technology classes as a parent engagement coordinator for Grand Rapids Public Schools. Following her graduate studies, she gained further professional experience while working within the athletic departments at both Louisville and Indiana University. These diverse roles allowed her to develop a specialized expertise in managing the unique academic needs of high-level competitors.
Today, Allison utilizes her background in psychology and higher education to lead the academic programming for the TPH Academy in Detroit. She ensures that every TPH student-athlete balances their rigorous training schedule with a commitment to their long-term educational goals. Her passion for mentorship helps create a supportive environment where students can thrive both in the classroom and on the ice.
