Nate Handrahan

Nate Handrahan is the Director and Head of Hockey for TPH Academy Columbus, bringing a rare and fully rounded coaching background that spans youth, junior, and NCAA Division I hockey. One of the few coaches in the country to have worked within both Men’s and Women’s Division I programs, he offers a uniquely complete perspective on the student-athlete pathway—bridging elite performance standards with the academic and developmental demands of the modern game.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Handrahan has built a strong reputation in player development through Hammer Hockey and continues to stay deeply connected to the competitive landscape as Head Coach of the Ohio AAA Blue Jackets 15O team. His leadership in Columbus centers on elevating the TPH “Study, Train, Play” model, with a focus on technical skill advancement, tactical understanding, and long-term athlete growth within the local hockey community.
