About Darin Taylor
Darin Taylor, born and raised in Huntsville, competed for the Huntsville Chargers organization for over thirteen years. Regarding his academic background, he earned a Bachelor of Biology with a focus on Exercise Physiology from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is also an ACSM certified professional and holds a Level 3 certification as a USA Hockey referee.
During his competitive playing career, Taylor earned a high school hockey State Championship and served as a standout defensive player. He also secured titles as a Regional and International Silver Stick Champion through his disciplined play on the ice. Furthermore, he received the Kory Paries award, which recognizes defensive players who exemplify leadership qualities both on and off the rink.
Today, Darin has dedicated himself to sharing his extensive knowledge of performance and strategy with the next generation of hockey players. Consequently, he combines his understanding of exercise physiology with his officiating and playing experience to provide comprehensive training. He remains a vital mentor for young athletes striving to reach the elite levels of the sport.
