Susan Magill

Susan is a Chicagoland native who brings firsthand experience as a student-athlete to her role as Director and Head of Academics at TPH Academy. A former gymnast known for her intensity and precision, Susan carried that same competitive spirit into the world of dance, earning accolades in competitive poms through college and even performing at the professional level on an NBA court.

With over 12 years of experience in education, Susan approaches teaching with the mindset of a coach—strategic, purposeful, and passionate. She has led the development of award-winning school systems nationwide, with a strong focus on personalized curriculum, differentiated instruction, teacher training, and college readiness. A recognized subject matter expert in curriculum development, she is dedicated to preparing students for success in an ever-changing world.

Susan holds an Associate’s Degree in Journalism and Communications, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Education. Her mission is clear: to help student-athletes unlock their full potential—on the ice, on the field, and far beyond the game.
