About Michel Larocque
Larocque, born in Lahr, Germany, came to Canada as a child. Larocque then made his way to the United States, where he was a goaltender for the Boston University Terriers. During LaRocque’s tenure with the Terriers, he captured many prestigious team and individual awards. Larocque was a Hobey Baker Finalist in 1999, accompanied by a NCAA all-American award. He also won the Hockey East regular season championship in 1997 and 1998. He was the winner of the Hockey East tournament MVP in 1997. After an impressive collegiate career, Larocque played 2 years professionally, including stops in the American Hockey League and the National Hockey League, Chicago Blackhawks. Larocque has over 20 years of coaching experience and is currently a USA Hockey Level 5 certified coach.
