About Johnny Johnson BS, CSCS
Johnny, a native of St. Charles, Missouri, is the Director of Sports Performance for TPH St. Louis Soccer Academy and brings over 15 years of experience in the Sports Performance field. Throughout his career as a strength and conditioning coach, Johnny has had the opportunity to work with high-level athletes like Brady and Matthew Tkachuk, Alex Pfeiffer, Alyssa Mautz, Pierre Desir, Cody Schrader, Kyren Williams, and many more! Johnny found his passion for Strength and Conditioning while playing football for Missouri Southern State University. While at MSSU, Johnny was named ALL-MIAA as a wide receiver in 2008 and ALL-MIAA as a running back in 2009. He graduated with a degree in Exercise Science in 2010. After college, he played professional football with the Indoor Football League’s Nebraska Danger in 2011.
Johnny has held the prestigious National Strength and Conditioning Association – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification for 13 years. In 2020, Johnny opened a Sports Performance Facility in St. Charles, Missouri, called Legion of Strength Fitness and Performance. There, Johnny has worked with some of the top athletes in the region. Johnny is excited to bring his enthusiasm for human performance to the academy and to help mold each student into the best athlete that they can be.
