Jennifer Hart

Jennifer was born and raised in Chicago and moved to Boise Idaho in 1991 to attend Boise State University on a gymnastics scholarship. She would spend the next 30 years living, working, playing, and raising her two children in the mountains of Idaho before returning to her home and family in Chicago.

She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Counseling, both from Boise State, before going on to work as a licensed professional counselor in a private practice. Feeling she could make more of a difference in the lives of young people if she could see them more frequently, she made the move to the school setting where she has loved being a part of her students’ lives for over 15 years.

Since moving back to Chicago, Jennifer now spends her days hanging out with her nieces and nephews, finding new trails to run on, playing any game with her hilariously competitive family, talking daily to her daughter who lives in Utah, and most recently, enjoying time with her son who graduated college and moved to Chicago to be near his mom and family.

Jennifer is very excited to be joining the TPH team and being a part of this amazing organization.
