About Gloria Medina
Gloria Medina serves as the Substitute Academic Success Coach for TPH Academy Austin. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Gloria and her family discovered Austin a few years ago. They were drawn to the welcoming community and vibrant atmosphere of Texas. They officially relocated in July. Her son, Leland, has joined TPH as a sixth-grade hockey player.
Gloria has more than 12 years of experience as a healthcare professional. She has worked with patients from many different backgrounds. She is widely recognized for her compassion and dedication. Gloria graduated with honors and earned a degree in general studies. She is currently continuing her education to become a pediatric nurse.
Her previous work as a health coordinator reflects her commitment to support. She brings these same qualities to her role with TPH. Gloria is passionate about helping student-athletes grow into confident young people. She strives to support their academic success in every way. She also focuses on building skills that extend beyond the classroom and the ice.
