About Gloria Medina

Gloria Medina serves as the Substitute Academic Success Coach for TPH Austin. Originally from Denver, Colorado, Gloria and her family discovered Austin a few years ago and were drawn to its welcoming community, vibrant atmosphere, and the unique spirit of Texas. They officially relocated at the end of July, and her son Leland has joined TPH as a sixth-grade hockey player.

With more than 12 years of experience as a healthcare professional, Gloria has worked with patients from a wide range of backgrounds and is recognized for her compassion and dedication. She graduated with honors, earning an associate’s degree in general studies with a minor in nursing, and is currently continuing her education to become a pediatric nurse. Her work as a health coordinator in labor and delivery reflects her commitment to providing care and support—qualities she brings to her role with TPH.

Gloria is passionate about helping student-athletes grow into confident, capable young men and women. She strives to support their academic success while equipping them with skills and confidence that extend beyond the classroom and the ice.
