About Sunsea Williams
Sunsea Williams, born and raised in South Bend, Indiana, earned two degrees from Northern Illinois University (NIU). Specifically, she holds a Bachelors in Sociology and a Masters in Adult and Higher Education from the institution. While attending NIU, Sunsea competed as a dedicated student-athlete in both track and field and cross country.
Following her athletic career, she spent four years working in Student-Athlete Academic Support Services at Georgia Tech. She served as an Academic Coordinator from 2015 to 2017 before earning a promotion to Assistant Director. In this role, she managed diverse academic programs to ensure the long-term success of collegiate athletes.
Prior to her time at Georgia Tech, Sunsea spent a year as the Athletic Academic Advisor at Jacksonville State University. Consequently, she brings a wealth of specialized knowledge regarding student-athlete development and academic compliance to her current position.
