About Chad Jacobsen
From coast to coast, Chad is recognized for being on the cutting edge of player and team development within the baseball world. It all began in 2004 after being named Colorado 5A Player of the Year and then advancing his career to play for Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. Under the insightful leadership of Coach Bryan Shepard, Chad was named a Two-Time All-Region Player; propelling him to be a standout for the University of South Carolina Aiken. During his time at Aiken, Jacobsen shattered 4 NCAA records, including the Single-Season Intentional Walk record, and was honored as the 2008 NCAA Player of the Year. Over his collegiate career, Chad broke 78 offensive/defensive university records, named Team MVP 4 times along with earning 2 All-American and 2 Player of the Year awards. Jacobsen was inducted into 1 High School Summer Hall of Fame and was selected to join the University of South Carolina Aiken’s All-Decade Team while also being nominated for the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
