World Elite Training to Bring the TPH Academy Experience to Bay of Quinte Region
TPH Academy is excited to announce a partnership with World Elite Training. This fall of 2023, World Elite – Powered by TPH Academy will welcome students in grades 6-12 to its Belleville, Ontario campus. An established and renowned hockey academy in a state-of-the-art facility, World Elite – Powered by TPH Academy will continue to provide exceptional hockey training, with the addition of TPH Academy’s holistic academy-style resources to enhance and support the student-athlete journey.

World Elite Turf Gym
World Elite – Powered by TPH Academy will be housed at World Elite’s state-of-the-art training and learning facility, located in Belleville, Ontario. Featuring dryland fitness equipment for strength and conditioning, RapidShot and RapidHands hockey technologies, and a gym that boasts 1,000 square feet of synthetic turf, the facility is jam-packed with resources to level up off the ice. In addition to the development of their skills on and off the ice, student-athletes will accelerate their game in the classroom through TPH Academy’s flexible, customizable, mastery-based academic programme.

A TPH Academy Classroom
Combining virtual learning with in-person, on-site academic support and facilitation, student-athletes will earn their academic credentials in a cohesive, blended learning environment. In partnership with Blyth Academy, courseware can be completed at any time, from any laptop, tablet, or mobile device. Whether in the classroom or on the go for sports travel, student-athletes have access to their academics. With a comprehensive course catalogue including university prep courses, foreign language studies, and a wide range of elective course offerings, World Elite – Powered by TPH Academy student-athletes are well-positioned to receive a world-class, Ontario-certified education all while pursuing their athletic goals. Because of TPH’s partnership with Blyth Academy, student-athletes in middle school are now able to enroll, opening the doors to grades 6-12.
Adding to the excitement, we have a stand out team of TPH campus leaders, such as Stanley Cup winner and fellow Belleville native Matt Cooke, who oversees 3 campuses between Minnesota and Iowa, and former NHLer – and father of Ottawa Senators star Josh Norris – Dwayne Norris, who heads up TPH Detroit.
In addition to offering world-class training, TPH also offers the opportunity to travel internationally and compete against the best in the world through their Tours and Teams Division. These competitive opportunities are available to TPH Academy hockey players, as well as members of organizations in close partnerships with TPH. The objective is to participate in world-class international and domestic events designed to offer unique, high-level development, advancement, and life-changing hockey opportunities.
