TPH Academy Kansas City Launches in Partnership with AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk for the 2024-2025 Academy Year
TPH Academy is thrilled to announce that it will be expanding its reach to the Kansas City Region for the 2024-2025 Academy Year. Partnering with AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in Overland Park, Kan., TPH Academy Kansas City will be housed in Bluhawk Development’s all-new, state-of-the-art, 420,000-square-foot sports facility.
Applications are now being accepted for the upcoming academic year. Open to student-athletes in grades 6-12, TPH Academy Kansas City will offer its Study-Train-Play program to student-athletes of every athletic interest. From Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer, and Diamond Sports, to E-Sports, Pickleball, Golf, Equestrian, Water Polo, and more, the AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk will have a training space to accommodate any student-athlete looking to level up their game.
Located within the Bluhawk development, AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk will open in the Fall of 2024 and will include an NHL-sized ice rink, 8 basketball courts (convertible to 16 volleyball/pickleball courts), a 40,000-square-foot turf field, locker rooms, a training area, café, a sports medicine center, and more. For families, there will be an entertainment center that will be home to arcade games, bowling, laser tag, an e-sports center, golf simulators, and a roll glider.

TPH Academy’s blended learning environment is built for the aspiring elite student-athletes of today. Students study on an academic platform that is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from any location. TPH Academy student-athletes interact with their course instructors virtually, are assigned appropriate core courses, and have a wide range of elective, AP, Honors, and foreign language courses. Each day, TPH Academy student-athletes study under the direction of an on-site academic leadership team that ensures they are on pace or ahead in their courses.
Additionally, the TPH Academy experience is uniquely tailored to each individual student-athlete. The volume and type of training they receive, the pace at which they study, and their physical environment are customized to the individual.

At TPH Academy, student-athletes are empowered to pursue their academic, athletic, and personal goals simultaneously, without fear of missing school days or falling behind in their studies. Regarding training, the average TPH Academy week includes over eight hours of athletic and sports training and multi-sport training one day a week to develop the total athlete.
Coaching and individualized training will be delivered to student-athletes through partnerships with AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk. Both organizations' groups of quality coaches and instructors will facilitate the “train” and “play” pieces of TPH Academy’s Study, Train, and Play experience, one that is open to all student-athletes, regardless of what local or club team they play for. Along with the likes of Coach Simon Watson, Director of Ice Operations at AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk, Danielle Stowell, Club Director of KC Power Volleyball, and Robbie Million, President of Kansas City Surf Soccer, student-athletes attending TPH Academy Kansas City are set up for serious athletic and academic successes with top-tier coaching across the board.
