TPH Academy Community Collects Over 21,000 Pounds of Food for Holiday Drive

As the holiday season draws to a close, TPH Academy looks back on the outstanding efforts made across our community to step into this season of giving with joy. From coast to coast, across the U.S. and Canada, TPH Academy student-athletes, families, and team members united in efforts to collect non-perishable food items and cash donations for their local communities.

This year, TPH collected over 21,000 pounds of food to give back this holiday season.

“Thank you to everyone across TPH for making this happen,” shared Alan Keeso, CEO of TPH Academy. “It was heartwarming to see all of the donations coming in, whether via cash or non-perishable foods. It was truly a team effort and we’re grateful for the opportunity to give a little extra support to those in need over the holiday season.”

TPH Academy team members shared photo updates of the collected items, from dry pasta to canned goods to specialty items like dairy free macaroni and cheese. Notably, out of the World Elite – Powered by TPH campus, a monetary donation made by the McNamara group of restaurants, together with Sysco foods, equated to 12,000 pounds of food!

Leading in pounds of food donated were TPH Cincinnati and its partners, who collectively donated over 1,800 pounds of food, TPH Huntsville, who collected 800 pounds, and TPH Nashville, bringing in 531 pounds of food. From across the country, the TPH National team collected roughly 3,700 pounds worth of monetary and food donations, with many thanks to colleagues, families and friends of the TPH team.

TPH Academy is proud to be a part of a community of student-athletes, families, team members, and local businesses that invest in the community around them. The leadership and initiative taken by student-athletes in these efforts was admirable and TPH thanks their families for their eagerness to give back.

Service to the communities surrounding TPH Academy campuses is an integral part of TPH’s student-athlete holistic development. TPH aims to foster an environment of kindness, compassion, and servant-leadership, and has expressed great pride in their team for their efforts in the annual food drive. TPH Academy will continue this tradition next year and hopes to surpass the 21,000 pound donation threshold!
