Boston Hockey Academy Powered by TPH to Add Individual Model Academy Experience for 2024-2025
New for 2024-2025, Boston Hockey Academy, powered by TPH Academy academics, is excited to open its doors to sixth through twelfth-grade student-athletes and those participating in postgraduate study, regardless of their current team, club, or association. The Boston Hockey Academy “individual model” provides aspiring-elite student-athletes with four days of on-ice hockey training and five days of off-ice sports performance training, twenty hours of in-person academic time, and exposure to a wide range of holistic development offerings per week, consistent with the TPH Academy experience.

Working with local and national academic support, the Boston Hockey Academy Powered by TPH academic model offers a completely customized academic solution for each student-athlete. This flexible, mastery-based education program includes individual academic coaching and award-winning, NCAA-accredited, and Cognia-certified courses. Delivered in a blended learning environment deliberately designed for student-athletes, the TPH academic model combines in-person learning guidance with the latest educational technology and virtual academics.

Hockey players from around the world will have the exclusive opportunity to work with some of the best coaches in the North East, including On-Ice skills Coach and former Boston University Terrier, Chris Dyment, Performance Coach, Ryan Sweeney, and Goalie Coach, Cam Isabelle. Allowing for over eight hours of weekly hockey-specific instruction, the TPH Academy experience is custom-tailored to each student-athlete. The volume and type of training they receive, the pace at which they study, and their physical environment are all personalized.
This innovative, individually tailored experience offers postgraduates and sixth through twelfth-graders over 350 hours of sports training annually, providing ample opportunities for hockey players to heighten their development on and off the ice during normal school hours.
