Opportunity That Lasts Beyond the Game

What began in 2001 as a two-week summer hockey camp in Huntsville, Alabama, has grown into an international network for aspiring-elite student-athletes. Today, TPH serves more than 1,000 families annually across more than 18 sports through TPH Academy campuses, partner clubs and organizations in the Powered by TPH network, and TPH Academy Online.

TPH alumni have gone on to capture world championships, earn college and junior opportunities, and reach the highest stages of their sport. Many more have built careers as teachers, nurses, service members, and business owners, carrying the discipline and resilience developed at TPH into every arena of life.

Make an Impact is designed to ensure that cost is never the deciding factor in whether a deserving student-athlete can access that experience. By removing financial barriers, every gift gives more aspiring-elite student-athletes the opportunity to pursue ambitious goals, build confidence, and develop the accountability and resilience they will carry long after their playing days.

Results On and Off the Field

Campaign proceeds benefit the Impact Player Foundation. Established in 2023, the Foundation supports student-athletes who demonstrate achievement, excellence, leadership, financial need and a commitment to making an impact. In 2025 alone, the Foundation awarded over $1,000,000 in scholarships and financial assistance.

During the 2025–26 academic year, TPH Academy student-athletes:

• Posted a 3.73 average GPA, with 85% earning honor roll recognition and 30+ securing college commitments.
• Advanced divisions and tiers, captured 80+ club championships, earned 40+ USA Hockey camp selections, and generated 50+ junior hockey opportunities.
• Contributed 3,000+ volunteer hours alongside 30+ community partners and raised $15,000+ for local causes.

Every gift to the Make an Impact campaign extends that opportunity to the next student-athlete ready to earn it.

In Our Founder’s Words

TPH founder Nathan Bowen reflected on that mission in his letter marking the organization’s 25th anniversary: “Our promise has never been that every student-athlete becomes a professional hockey player.”

Bowen continued, "Twenty-five years have passed since the first campers stepped onto the ice with us. Today, our legacy belongs to thousands of alumni and student-athletes whose stories extend across sports, careers, communities, and generations. That has always been our mission and will continue to define our future.

We are immensely proud of what we have built together over the last quarter-century, but we know our most significant work is always in front of us. This anniversary is not a victory lap; it is a promise of what is to come. Every lesson learned, every sacrifice made, and every challenge met has been in service of creating something lasting—a foundation for the next generation of young people to find their own path."
