About Sergey Liulchuk
A native of Ukraine, Sergey Liulchuk brings an exceptional wealth of knowledge and international experience to the TPH Academy coaching staff. As both a professional goaltender and an elite-level coach, he possesses a deep understanding of the technical and mental demands of the position. Notably, “Coach Sergey” served as the starting goaltender for the Ukrainian National Team in 2017, competing at the highest tiers of international hockey. Consequently, his firsthand experience in high-pressure environments allows him to provide invaluable mentorship to developing netminders.
Following his successful playing career, Sergey transitioned into coaching and served on the staff for the Ukrainian National Team in 2020. This role further solidified his reputation as a premier instructor capable of developing talent for the global stage. Furthermore, his international background provides TPH goaltenders with a unique perspective on diverse training methodologies and modern save selections. Because he has competed against the world’s best shooters, he is uniquely equipped to prepare student-athletes for the challenges of junior, collegiate, and professional hockey.
