About Issy Lebrun
Originally from Plattsburgh, New York, Isabelle “Issy” Lebrun brings an exceptional academic and athletic pedigree to the TPH Academy team. She began her journey as a student-athlete at Stanstead College before attending Long Island University to pursue a degree in Sports Management. Notably, she competed as an inaugural member of the Sharks Women’s Hockey Program, helping to lay the foundation for the university’s Division I success. Furthermore, her experience as a high-level collegiate athlete provided her with a unique understanding of the discipline required to excel in a startup program.
Following her successful tenure at LIU, Isabelle continued her education at King’s College, where she earned two separate Master’s degrees. Specifically, she holds advanced degrees in both Healthcare Administration and Educational Leadership, reflecting her commitment to professional and organizational excellence. During this time, she remained a versatile competitor by representing King’s College in both ice hockey and track and field. Consequently, she possesses a rare perspective on the physical and mental demands placed on multi-sport athletes at the collegiate level.
Isabelle is incredibly excited to have found a professional role that perfectly blends elite hockey training with quality academic instruction. She is eager to utilize her background in educational leadership to mentor the next generation of student-athletes as they begin their own journeys. Ultimately, her passion for the “Study, Train, Play” model ensures that every athlete receives the guidance necessary to achieve their full potential. As a result, she remains a vital asset to the TPH community and is ready to make a lasting impact this year.
