About Cody Barra
Cody Barra currently serves as the Director of Hockey for the St. Peters Hockey Club and brings a high level of competitive experience to the TPH Academy team. As a former player for Lindenwood University, he possesses a firsthand understanding of the dedication required to compete at the collegiate level. Over the past three years, Cody was an integral part of the Chicago Reapers AAA program, where he focused on elite player development. During this tenure, he successfully coached athletes across various age groups within the Tier-1 program to prepare them for the next stage of their careers.
Because he joins the staff with close ties to the city of St. Louis, Cody is deeply committed to making a lasting positive impact on the local hockey community. Furthermore, his background in director-level operations allows him to oversee the comprehensive growth of student-athletes with a professional and strategic lens. He believes in fostering an environment where young players can thrive both on and off the ice through disciplined training and mentorship. Consequently, his presence at TPH St. Louis strengthens our mission to provide world-class instruction to the region’s most promising talents.
Ultimately, Cody’s transition from an elite player to a prominent hockey director ensures that our student-athletes receive guidance from a leader who understands every facet of the game. By focusing on individual skill progression and team-oriented success, he helps bridge the gap between youth hockey and the collegiate ranks. As a result, his leadership continues to shape the future of hockey in St. Louis by setting high standards for athletic and personal excellence.
