About Christie Stichling
A Town & Country native and former McDonald’s All-American, Christie Stichling leads the TPH St. Louis Soccer Academy with a deep passion for player development and mentorship. Her storied career began at St. Joseph’s Academy, where she was a three-time state champion and the 2002 Missouri High School Player of the Year. Notably, she still holds the record for the most goals scored in a high school championship game, a testament to her elite offensive skill and competitive drive. Furthermore, Christie played collegiately at both Saint Louis University and Auburn University to gain a diverse perspective on high-level tactical play.
Following her successful playing career, Christie transitioned into coaching to channel her extensive experience into the development of young athletes. She currently serves on the Player Development Training (PDT) staff at St. Louis Scott Gallagher, where she also coaches her son’s team. Because of her deep roots in the local sports scene, her leadership is shaped by a personal commitment to the St. Louis soccer community. Additionally, she emphasizes the importance of character and discipline alongside technical skill to ensure that every student-athlete reaches their full potential.
Ultimately, Christie’s unique background as a top-tier recruit and collegiate standout makes her an invaluable mentor for players navigating their own advancement paths. By focusing on high-performance habits and a love for the game, she fosters a culture of excellence within the TPH Academy model.
