Anissa Morton, a native of Huntsville, Alabama, joins the TPH Academy team with a diverse professional background and a deep commitment to student-centered education. She attended the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in English. Before transitioning into the world of education, Anissa served as a Marketing Manager for the Russell Corporation to build a strong foundation in professional leadership. Consequently, she brings a unique blend of corporate strategic experience and academic mentorship to the Huntsville campus.
With a solid background in collaborative education, Anissa possesses 12 years of experience teaching both her own children and groups of students in a traditional classroom setting. Her extensive tenure includes working with various age groups across a wide range of subjects to ensure a well-rounded approach to learning. Furthermore, she is widely known for keeping the educational process fun and exciting while paying close attention to the specific needs of every individual. Because she focuses on each student’s unique qualities, she is perfectly positioned to help our student-athletes reach their maximum potential.
In her new role at TPH Huntsville, Anissa will be responsible for driving academic excellence and helping athletes navigate their rigorous daily schedules. Her passion for fostering a supportive and organized classroom environment ensures that every student-athlete stays on the path toward their long-term goals. Additionally, her experience as a hockey and dance parent provides her with a personal understanding of the dedication required for elite youth performance. Ultimately, her leadership helps bridge the gap between high-level athletic training and the disciplined habits necessary for collegiate and professional success.
Outside of the Academy, Anissa enjoys attending her son’s travel hockey games and her daughter’s dance competitions with her husband, Patrick. When she is not on the road supporting her children, she can often be found searching for antique and vintage treasures at local estate sales. This balance of professional expertise and family-oriented passion makes her an invaluable asset to the TPH Huntsville community. As a result, she remains dedicated to helping the next generation of leaders achieve excellence both in the classroom and on the ice.
