Student-athletes and their families are the heroes of our story at TPH Academy. 

And never has it been so important for that to remain so.

In the rapidly evolving world of sports, driven by artificial intelligence and powerful analytics, new sources of capital and consolidation, and NIL and professionalization at younger ages, there’s much to be distracted by, cautious of, and excited for. 

As we wade through the signal and noise, risks and opportunities, and rapid pace of change, we make sure that one thing stays the same: we’re a student-athletes and families-first company.

They inspired the beginnings of Total Package Hockey in 2001, when a small group of UAH alumni opened ice hockey camps and clinics, providing new development opportunities for young hockey players to grow in the game and - most importantly - build confidence.

In 2012, student-athletes and their families in Detroit inspired the first TPH Academy. The concept was born from parents' concerns that extensive hockey travel was leading to school suspensions. After two years of research, TPH launched a first-of-its-kind in the U.S. academic model, empowering aspiring elite student-athletes to thrive in their sport, in the gym, in the classroom, and - importantly - simply as kids.

More than a decade later, more than 800 student-athletes across 20 campuses WOW us with their dedication, teamwork, community service, perseverance, and achievements. 

Whether it’s a jump from the A to AA or AA to AAA level of competition, a first game at the pro level, a letter written to a veteran or a pound of food donated to a food drive, an encouraging word given to a classmate, a personal best with an extra rep in the gym, or a first appearance on the honor roll, our student-athletes and their families have so much to be proud of.
